Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference for students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is ideal for passionate professionals eager to support communication development and academic success in a school-based environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active and valid SLP state license or eligibility in California Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status considered Prior experience in a school setting is preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, individualized planning, and intervention Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Work closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure strategies are integrated in the classroom Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student success Assist with screenings and collaborate on district-wide initiatives to support student speech-language needs This contract assignment offers a meaningful way to support learning, growth, and student well-being.
