Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist creates space for impactful work with a varied caseload, collaborating with educational teams to enhance student communication and learning outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, though strong clinical backgrounds are welcomed Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills for multidisciplinary teamwork Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a wide variety of speech, language, and communication needs, covering kindergarten through high school Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to IEP goals and student strengths Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions Complete comprehensive evaluations and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and service planning throughout the academic year Utilize evidence-based practices to create engaging, outcomes-focused therapy
