Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A fantastic opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking a dynamic, onsite contract position for the upcoming school year. With full-time hours (37.5 per week, Monday through Friday), this role offers the chance to work with both middle and high school students, making a meaningful impact in their communication development and educational success. As the lead SLP in a supportive educational setting, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive range of speech services. Your expertise will help students achieve their fullest potential in an engaging, collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) license Recent school-based SLP experience preferred Proficient in providing direct therapy, conducting thorough assessments, and participating in IEP processes Comfortable working independently across a diverse caseload Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering student growth at middle and high school grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students Complete accurate evaluations and assessments as needed Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team Document services and progress in compliance with school and state policies Support students' academic and social communication goals Engage in a role that supports professional development while contributing to a vibrant school community dedicated to student success.
