Job Summary Join our team at Butterfly Speech Therapy as a Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to transforming lives in a school setting and in-home services! CF's welcome for our school setting with supervision from our incredible owner, who has 10 years experience working with children in school settings, in-home, clinics and Telehealth services. We are a small private practice who provides speech therapy through in-home speech therapy and in school settings. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech and language disorders in pediatric and school-age populations. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for individuals, utilizing knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Develop speech therapy goals tailored to each child's unique needs. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, fluency and pragmatic skills. Collaborate closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and effective early intervention strategies. Monitor progress regularly through patient assessments and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to maximize outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards. Promote patient care by providing education on communication strategies and exercises that can be continued at home or in school settings. Experience CF's welcome! Internship or prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable. Experience with pediatrics and school age individuals. Strong background in speech therapy techniques across various communication disorders. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production Experience conducting patient assessments using standardized tools and interpreting results accurately.
