What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Soliant has partnered with a school in San Jose, CA, and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist
for the remainder of the school year.
Requirements:
Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered Active CA SLP license (preferred) Prior schools experience strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits:
Hourly W2 pay of $73 to $88/hr, dependent on experience Health, vision and dental insurance Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked Employer-matched 401(k) As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting,
clinicians will: Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings We seek candidates who demonstrate the following core
