Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students in a dynamic educational setting near San Jose, CA! Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will empower children to find their voices, expand their communication skills, and build brighter futures. Your contributions will be valued as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on student growth and success.
Desired Background & Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education requirements Proactive communicator and positive collaborator CA SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to deliver holistic support Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear recommendations and progress updates Document services, progress notes, and maintain student records in accordance with regulatory standards Deliver both individual and group speech/language intervention sessions
