Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary-aged students for the full upcoming school year. This is an engaging, full-time role where your expertise will help shape the foundation for young learners' communication success. You will serve an elementary school caseload, working closely with a collaborative educational team. Make a meaningful difference in children's lives as you create innovative, individualized plans, address a diverse range of speech and language needs, and empower students to reach their full potential throughout the 26/27 academic year.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility in California SLP-CCC certification or Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidacy accepted Experience or familiarity with school-based SLP services preferred Strong background in pediatric speech and language therapy Excellent communication and documentation abilities Positive, collaborative approach with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment and intervention to elementary school students Develop, implement, and update IEPs in accordance with district guidelines Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams, meetings, and parent conferences Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress Educate and support staff, teachers, and families on speech/language strategies Adapt and tailor services to meet individualized student needs This contract role offers professional growth in a supportive and dynamic school environment, allowing you to collaborate with passionate educators and make a significant impact in students' academic and social development.
