A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Caseload:
TK-8th Grade Responsibilities Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation. Develop and implement IEP goals and monitor student progress. Provide individual and/or small-group speech and language services. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure. School-based or pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. !
