Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact by supporting preschool-aged children as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity near San Mateo, CA, focuses on providing valuable therapy services to an early childhood population. As a bilingual Spanish-speaking SLP, your expertise will help shape young learners' communication skills and set them on a path to lifelong success. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current California licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required) Strong understanding of therapy approaches for preschool-aged children Effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills Dedication to supporting diverse students' needs and helping them achieve their potential Your responsibilities will include: Conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for preschool students with varied speech and language needs Delivering direct and indirect speech-language therapy individually and in groups Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress and engagement Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal requirements Providing guidance and support to staff and families regarding communication strategies Fostering a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where bilingual students thrive This on-site position gives you the chance to work closely with young children and play a critical role in their foundational development.
