Melospeech Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated PRN Hybrid-Remote SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) to join our team in Marin County, San Mateo County, OR San Francisco County. This part-time PRN position offers a competitive W2 salary range of $40 to $50 per hour. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in providing speech and language therapy services to young children birth to 3 within the community. This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while utilizing your skills and expertise in speech-language pathology under the supervision of an SLP.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans for clients. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to clients in home and virtually. Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records of therapy sessions, including progress notes for supervisor review. Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and trends in speech-language pathology to enhance therapy services. Collaborate and communicate effectively with other members of the therapy team to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state regulations.Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field. Valid CA License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board. Previous experience working as an SLPA or in a related role is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Proficiency in using computer-based therapy tools and software. Understanding and adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize caseload and meet deadlines.Note:
