Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract role dedicated to supporting students' communication development in an engaging school setting near San Ramon, CA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll work directly with children who have speech and language disorders, making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs Deliver targeted therapy sessions that help students achieve measurable speech and language goals Diligently document student progress and adapt therapy plans as needed Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including teachers, counselors, and other specialists—to ensure holistic, coordinated care Provide education and support for families, helping them understand and participate in the therapy process

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active or eligible for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year applicants are welcome Experience working with pediatric or school-aged children is highly desirable Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to balance independent work with effective teamwork You'll benefit from a collaborative advisory network staffed by experienced, locally based SLPs who understand your unique challenges and can offer invaluable guidance.
