Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This onsite, contract position offers the chance to make a profound difference in the lives of students, supporting their communication needs and overall educational success. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license for California or eligibility for immediate licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status Previous experience in educational settings preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions onsite Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions Provide ongoing support and resources to teachers and parents to enhance student outcomes
