Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for a maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year. This engaging contract position is ideal for professionals seeking a dynamic role in a collaborative school environment near Santa Clara, CA. You'll make a positive impact on elementary-aged students, helping them unlock their full communication potential. Ideal candidates will hold (or be eligible for) either their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Whether you are a seasoned SLP or beginning your school-based career, your expertise will be highly valued. Requirements Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California (or eligibility to obtain) SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status accepted Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads Strong communication and time management skills Capacity to thrive in a flexible, collaborative setting Ability to adapt and engage with diverse learners In this role, you will: Manage an elementary school caseload, delivering both direct and consultative speech/language services Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings Provide therapy sessions (individual and group) to foster meaningful student progress Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a positive school culture Support the campus if the Tony VBD is flipped, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork If you're ready to make a difference and enjoy the structure of a full-time (3-4 days per week) contract through the late January start and extending to the end of the school year, this assignment is for you.
