Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity making a significant difference in the lives of elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers you the chance to support a close-knit community in a small district near San Jose, where your expertise and passion for speech therapy will have a lasting impact.
Key Qualifications:
Holds current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working within school settings, especially with elementary caseloads, is highly valued Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow support staff Dedicated to fostering a supportive and positive environment for young learners Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
Your Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language services for elementary-aged students Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress throughout the school year Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs Use evidence-based practices to deliver therapy both in group and one-on-one settings Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district guidelines
