Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting elementary students as a dedicated onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Work with a diverse caseload of mild to moderate needs and make a lasting impact across two elementary locations in the Santa Maria area. This full-time, full school year contract offers meaningful experience and valuable support to students eager to develop their communication skills. As an SLP in this setting, you will manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, splitting your week with three days at one school and two days at another. Qualified Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply—supervision will be provided. You'll join an environment that is committed to empowering students with the tools for better learning and social interaction.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active California SLP license (or eligibility) School-based SLP experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply; supervision provided Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills Ability to independently manage a full-time schedule and diverse student needs
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy and collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Engage with parents, guardians, and school personnel for holistic student support Adapt services across two school sites throughout the week Imagine developing your expertise in a supportive educational environment that sees your contributions firsthand.
