Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role for the upcoming 26/27 school year as a Speech Language Pathologist, working full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This contract position serves both elementary and high school students, offering a dynamic caseload of 45-50 students. Whether you are an SLP-CCC or working towards your certification (SLP-CFY), your expertise and passion for communication support will have a lasting impact.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Holds current or pending SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date) Experience in school settings is highly valued Familiarity with diverse communication needs in K-12 populations Strong collaboration and organizational skills Comfort with both elementary and high school caseload management
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans Deliver engaging speech and language interventions for students Collaborate with teachers and IEP teams to ensure effective support Document progress, maintain compliance with special education requirements Communicate regularly with families about student growth Support both academic achievement and social participation through personalized therapy
