Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students and making a meaningful impact in their educational journey as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers 32.5 hours per week in a vibrant school environment near Sebastopol, CA, where your expertise will help empower students to reach their communication goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience in a school setting is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students with diverse communication challenges Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide updates to teachers, administrators, and families Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives Enjoy the rewards of fostering student growth, collaborating with dedicated professionals, and serving as a valued resource within the school community.
