Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year as a Speech Therapist in a supportive K-12 district setting near Selma, CA. This full-time role welcomes credentialed SLP-CCC professionals, those completing their CFY, and SLPA candidates enthusiastic about school-based practice. Collaborate with dedicated educators and foster communication success for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid California licensure as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or SLPA Experience working with K-12 student populations in school environments Strong knowledge of assessment tools and individualized educational planning Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and staff Enthusiasm for team-based care and culturally responsive practices Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement effective therapy interventions for students Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress towards goals Provide both direct and consultative therapy services in classroom and pull-out settings Work in partnership with teachers, support staff, and families to advance student outcomes Maintain thorough and timely records and contribute to student eligibility evaluations Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams Stay current on best practices and contribute to a positive school community Working in this district offers fulfillment and professional growth in a diverse and engaged school community.
