Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, youll have the chance to work in a variety of educational settings, including locations ranging from El Dorado Hills to Camino. Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current California SLP license (no additional district or licensing requirements) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience or understanding of CA Schools/Special Education Information System (SEIS) is a plus Willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and travel between multiple locations Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLP Assistants (SLPAs) with on-site SLP supervision provided Ability to manage mild to moderate caseloads, with the potential to support students with more significant needs

Deliver on-site speech-language services to students across various schools in the county Travel between sites as needed; itinerant scheduling is likely Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Complete timely documentation and progress reports using SEIS when possible Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Enjoy working in a region with easy access to Lake Tahoe and Sacramento, while building relationships in a supportive educational community.
