Job Description
Empower students to find their voice and communicate with confidence as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic educational setting near Sonoma, CA. This contract position provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with both middle school and elementary-aged children, making a measurable impact every day. What you'll bring: Current SLP or SLPA credential (California licensure required) Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational settings Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies for a range of speech and language disorders Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Daily responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across a split caseload between a middle school and an elementary school Perform screenings, evaluations, and create individualized treatment plans Consult with educators and families to support student success in and out of the classroom Develop progress reports and participate in IEP meetings as needed Use evidence-based practices to provide direct and consultative services What sets this opportunity apart: Enjoy the fulfillment of supporting student growth in a welcoming school community.
