Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA, or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs Develop and customize IEP goals based on assessment data and student needs Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions and monitor progress Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom integration Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to district and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment This is a contract-based role located near South Pasadena, providing a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic school setting.
