Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embrace a unique opportunity to support students' communication needs while working as a bilingual (Spanish/English) Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract role. This position offers the ability to blend your expertise in pediatric speech therapy with the flexibility and innovation of teletherapy, all within a vibrant and diverse school setting. As a valuable member of the educational support team, you will help enable student success by delivering comprehensive speech-language services in collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists. Your bilingual skills will have an immediate and meaningful impact in providing equitable access to services for Spanish-speaking students.
Requirements include:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) Experience serving pediatric populations in school-based or healthcare settings Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques strongly preferred Solid organizational, documentation, and communication skills Responsibilities encompass: Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments for students Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans Delivering therapy through both in-person and teletherapy platforms Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Documenting progress and contributing to IEP meetings as needed This role offers a competitive hourly rate ($50-60/hour) for full-time contracted positions, with opportunities for professional growth and fulfilling service.
