Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting by supporting students' communication skills during the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract role is conveniently located near Sunnyvale, CA, and offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours weekly. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be key in serving children from preschool through 8th grade, with opportunities to both participate in child find initiatives and support a diverse group of learners. Bilingual candidates are highly valued, though proficiency in multiple languages is not required to apply. Qualifications:
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience or strong interest in working with preschool through middle school-aged children Bilingual skills are an advantage, but not mandatory Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Participate in child find activities to identify students requiring early intervention or speech-language services Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports Provide consultation and strategies to staff and parents to support each student's growth Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Whether you're an experienced SLP or looking to broaden your clinical skills, this position offers a vibrant professional community and the chance to make a lasting difference.
