Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract role focused on serving a diverse PreK-Adult caseload in a dynamic school district located near Sunnyvale, CA. This itinerant position is ideal for professionals who thrive in onsite settings, working across multiple programs during both the regular and extended school year (27.5 hours per week). Utilize your expertise in conducting evaluations and assessments to help students reach their communication and academic goals. As a vital member of the educational team, you'll collaborate with other specialists and have the rewarding opportunity to work with individuals ranging from early learners through adult education programs.
Key Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Relevant experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably across varying age groups Demonstrated ability to manage a flexible, itinerant schedule Strong assessment and evaluation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with IEP goals Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments for a range of learners, PreK through Adult programs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and monitor effective intervention plans Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting required by the district Support students' language, communication, and social skill development through evidence-based interventions Travel between assigned sites within the district as needed Enjoy a professionally enriching environment and the ability to make a real difference in the lives of learners at multiple stages.
