A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Benefits & Perks Exceptional Clinical Fellowship mentorship and supervision Highly competitive compensation Generous paid time off Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer matching California professional license reimbursement Continuing education/CEU reimbursement Mileage reimbursement Therapy materials reimbursement Company-issued laptop Company-sponsored team-building and bonding events Collaborative and supportive interdisciplinary team Opportunities to work with pediatric and adult populations Ongoing opportunities for professional development and career growth A positive environment where clinicians are encouraged to learn, collaborate, and have fun Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Evaluate and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and related disorders within the clinician's scope of practice Develop individualized, functional, and evidence-based treatment plans Provide engaging and effective therapy designed to support meaningful outcomes Educate and coach families, caregivers, and appropriate support staff on strategies to promote carryover of skills outside of therapy sessions Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, physicians, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate Participate in mentorship, supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities Maintain professional, ethical, and compassionate standards of care Build positive relationships with patients and families while creating an encouraging and supportive therapy experience Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program Eligible for a California Required Professional Experience (RPE) temporary license in Speech-Language Pathology Eligible to complete the ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CF) requirements Current TB clearance and ability to successfully complete required background screening Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Effective time-management and organizational skills Collaborative, dependable, team-oriented, and enthusiastic Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping children, adolescents, adults, and their families succeed Most importantly, have fun and enjoy what you do!
