9567350-92592 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role serving students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational environment. This full-time opportunity begins in November and offers the chance to work closely with K-8th grade students, making a significant difference in their academic and social success. The position requires 7.5-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, supporting students communication needs. Enjoy engaging in collaborative work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams while expanding your experience working with diverse student populations. Those with a background in high school settings are encouraged to apply, although prior experience with that age group is not essential. Your expertise will shine as you provide assessments, direct therapy, and develop individualized treatment plans that foster student growth. Candidates must hold a valid California SLP license and meet CTC requirements, along with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Previous school-based experience is expected, and your knowledge will contribute to positive outcomes for students at various developmental stages.
Qualifications and Skills:
Current California Speech-Language Pathology license. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required. California Teacher Credentialing (CTC) authorization. Experience in a school setting necessary; high school experience a plus. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver speech/language services to K-8 students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators, parents, and support teams. Document progress and contribute to student success in and out of the classroom.
