Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, full school year (FSY) assignment begins in the 2026/2027 academic year and focuses on providing essential services to PreK and potentially itinerant student populations. Onsite presence is required, as the role prioritizes face-to-face interaction and engagement with students and multidisciplinary teams. The district is open to both experienced professionals and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with a strong preference for candidates who can communicate effectively in Spanish, though monolingual applicants are welcome. Candidates should be willing to commit to an assignment lasting more than one academic year. Experience with SEIS, California school Medicaid (Paradigm), and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices will be valued.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP-CCC or eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Eligible for or hold California Certificate of Clearance (COC) Familiarity with SEIS documentation and CA Medicaid billing (Paradigm) strongly preferred Prior school-based SLP experience highly desirable Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus Flexibility to serve in itinerant capacities if needed Commitment to full-time onsite work for the full duration of the assignmentKey Responsibilities:
