Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting role supporting PreK students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year! This full-time, contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact in an educational setting, working with a vibrant and diverse student population. You'll join a collaborative environment where your expertise in speech-language services helps young learners achieve their communication goals.
Your qualifications include:
Current California Speech Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience or familiarity with SEIS documentation platforms preferred Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tools and strategies Demonstrated Medicaid billing proficiency Previous work with school-age or PreK populations a strong plus Ability to meet COC requirements Your responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality speech and language services for PreK students Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Documenting progress and maintaining compliance using SEIS Collaborating with educators, families, and the multidisciplinary team Utilizing AAC devices and strategies when appropriate Conducting assessments and screenings to inform tailored interventions Ensuring accurate and timely Medicaid billing in accordance with regulations In this role, you'll be compensated at a competitive rate of $55-$65 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment to excellence in the field.
