Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication and growth in a rewarding school-based role in the Torrance, CA area. This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to foster student success through specialized therapeutic support in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience providing speech and language services in school settings Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students, both one-on-one and in group settings Complete assessments, develop treatment goals, and contribute to IEP meetings Track student progress and adjust individualized therapy plans as needed Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes Maintain accurate records of sessions and communicate student needs and progress to staff and parents Support inclusive practices within the school environment You can look forward to a dynamic work atmosphere, opportunities to collaborate with dedicated professionals, and the satisfaction of watching students thrive with your guidance.
