Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic elementary school environment and make a lasting difference as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and support students in achieving their communication goals. As an SLP (with CCC or CFY credentials), you'll work with a diverse elementary caseload, providing therapy, assessment, and consultation, while playing a crucial role in each student's educational journey. Your expertise will help develop individual treatment plans, track student progress, and foster partnerships with staff and families to ensure every child's voice is heard.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Hold or eligible for California state licensure Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Previous experience working with elementary students preferred Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and documentation practices
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and placements Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other service providers Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions Offer resources and support to families and educators This contract role presents the rewarding experience of building connections and making a real impact in students' lives.
