Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving elementary-aged students and help shape communication skills that last a lifetime. This position focuses on providing comprehensive speech-language therapy services to children in Pre-K through 5th grade, making a meaningful impact on their educational experience. Ideal candidates bring a background in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology, holding active SLP licensure (Clinical Fellowship Year, CCC, healthcare, or school settings). Experience designing and implementing therapeutic interventions with enthusiasm for fostering developmental growth is highly valued.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in California SLP-CCC or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year Demonstrated pediatric or school-based SLP experience Strong collaboration and communication skills Thorough understanding of IEP development and participation Ability to manage caseloads independently and efficiently Candidates must be credentialed SLPs; no additional SLP Assistants (SLPA) can be considered
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to PK-5th grade students Conduct assessments, develop goals, write IEPs, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Provide direct therapy during a 7.75-hour school day, with a 30-minute duty-free lunch, from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Actively participate in team meetings and professional development as required Maintain timely, organized documentation and student records
Schedule & Details:
