Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to dynamic school environments near Vacaville, CA, supporting students across a variety of grade levels and specialized programs. Multiple contract opportunities are available, each offering a unique scope—from intensive and mild-moderate Special Day Classes to general education populations. While the preference is for in-person service, virtual options may be considered for roles not strictly designated as on-site. Available Assignments (please indicate your preference: a - f): a) 1.0 FTE (In-person, single site): Serve two Special Day Classes—High School/Post-Secondary Intensive and Mild/Moderate. b) 1.0 FTE (In-person, two sites): 0.6 FTE in Middle School Special Day Class (Intensive + Mild/Mod) and 0.4 FTE in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Special Day Class. c) 1.0 FTE (In-person, single site): Provide services to TK-5th grade students, no Special Day Classes. d) 1.0 FTE (In-person, two sites): 0.6 FTE in TK-5 Mild/Mod Program, 0.4 FTE in Middle School Intensive + Mild/Mod. e) 1.0 FTE (In-person, three sites): 0.5 FTE for
TK-8, 0.2 FTE
for
TK-8, 0.3 FTE
for TK-5, all without Special Day Classes. f) 0.5 FTE (In-person, three sites): 0.2 FTE High School, 0.2 FTE Elementary, 0.1 FTE Elementary Mild/Mod.
Qualifications:
Current California Speech-Language Pathology license and
ASHA CCC
required Previous school-based experience, preferably with Special Day Classes or diverse caseloads Strong communication and organizational skills Flexibility to adapt across grade levels and program intensities
