Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Ignite your passion for supporting student development as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact with both elementary and high school students. Working a consistent 8:00-4:30 schedule, you'll manage a diverse caseload of 45-50 students, delivering vital speech and language services. We welcome both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and seasoned SLP-CCC professionals eager to bring their expertise and care to an engaged school community.
Desired background and strengths:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Holds current or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California Experience (or strong interest) in school settings, working with children or adolescents Proficient in individualized evaluations and crafting measurable goals Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to effectively support a caseload of 45-50 students across elementary and high school Key responsibilities include: Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consulting and collaborating with teachers, families, and other educational staff Maintaining meticulous case notes, assessment data, and progress reports Supporting students across a broad range of needs and cultural backgrounds Participating in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities This position is an excellent fit for Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in a dynamic school environment.
