A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Afternoon Only Speech Therapist - Premium Pay Fox Therapy Services Westlake Village, CA Job Details Part-time $55 - $75 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Teamwork Working with pediatric populations Master's degree Experience working with children Speech-Language Pathology License Pediatrics Communication Sciences & Disorders Full Job Description Job Description Fox Therapy Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide pediatric speech services at our Westlake Village location. An ideal candidate, would be available from 2:00pm - 6:00pm Monday through Friday, but we are still heavily considering candidates with lesser availability. All sessions are conducted in our clinic — no travel required. Fox is a very active and collaborative practice providing ABA, speech, OT, myofunctional, and feeding therapy, thus creating a strong interdisciplinary environment for both families and clinicians. It is a great learning experience for all, and the perfect opportunity to work alongside experts of a related pediatric discipline! Responsibilities Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric clients (early childhood through school-age) Implement individualized treatment plans Complete documentation accurately and on time Communicate effectively with caregivers and team members Maintain professional, consistent availability Collaborate with other team members as part of a multidisciplinary clinic model
Qualifications For SLPs:
Active California SLP license Master's Degree in
Speech-Language Pathology For SLPAs:
Active California SLPA license Experience working with pediatric populations All candidates should demonstrate: Strong communication skills Reliability and punctuality Professional documentation habits Comfort working in a collaborative clinic environment
