Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting Pre-K students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC credential. This in-person role allows you to choose between part-time and full-time schedules, working 2-3 days per week based on your preference, across one school site per day in a supportive school setting near Whittier, CA.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (SLP-CCC) Experience providing services in a school setting, with a strong background working with Pre-K or pediatric populations Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and conducting assessments Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work across multiple school sites

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to Pre-K students in a school-based environment Conduct assessments, create, and monitor IEP goals tailored to student needs Work collaboratively with teachers, aides, and families to support language and communication development Travel between 2-3 assigned school locations (one site per day) within the district Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Provide staff education and participate in meetings as needed
