Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This position welcomes both Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates and those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), making it ideal for seasoned professionals and emerging talent alike. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible licensure for SLP in Colorado Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience working in educational settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong knowledge of IEP processes, assessment, and evidence-based intervention strategies Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication challenges Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and legal compliance for student records Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff in-service training sessions as needed This role is designed to offer an enriching experience in a supportive and collaborative educational setting.
