We are seeking a candidate with experience in, and passion for, working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) patient populations to take on 50/50 caseload of DHH and general speech and language disorder populations. The Speech-Language Pathologist I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP).. Proficiency in American Sign Language preferred. •Not accepting clinical fellows for this position (must have CCC's) and a minimum of 3 years experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform. 1. Completes case management activities consistent with department quality assurance and quality improvement standards. Completes written documentation in accordance with department standards for format, location, and time frames. Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets 2. Collaborates with the family, physicians, schools and other educational institutions, and other providers to ensure the continuum of care for the child and optimal clinical services. All interactions are non-judgmental and based on mutual respect. 3. Demonstrates leadership and participates in systematic, planned professional development to improve the clinical, educational, research, and advocacy goals of the department and hospital. 4. Completes diagnostic evaluations consistent with contemporary, evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology and department quality assurance standards. Clinician incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services. 5. Provides developmentally appropriate intervention services consistent with contemporary, evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology and department quality assurance standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION•Master's degree in Speech•Language Pathology or related field.
EXPERIENCE
•3 years experience with pediatric hearing loss, cochlear implants strongly preferred. Not accepting clinical fellows for this position (must have CCC's). Proficiency in American Sign Language preferred.
CERTIFICATION
(S)•BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR; American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC•Speech-Language Pathologist
LICENSURE
•State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $78,659.24 to $117,988.86 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
