School Speech and Language Pathologist | Denver, Colorado Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Denver, CO Job Details Full-time $40 - $65 an hour Qualifications Spanish Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) English Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Serving a diverse student population across 16 sites, this tight-knit community values kindness and openness to both early-career and seasoned professionals. Work full-time in a Pre K-6th setting, supporting around 40-50 students with a mix of mild to severe needs, including 10 Pre K students. The district's collaborative and welcoming culture ensures you have the support needed to make a meaningful impact.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Colorado Department of Education SLP Credential, or actively progressing toward certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility (CFs welcome; supervision provided) Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required Experience in school settings and with mild to severe student needs is preferred In this role, you will: Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments Deliver direct therapy services for identified students Document service notes and participate in IEP meetings Act as case manager for students whose primary IEP service is speech Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams The district's interview process involves a brief initial screening (virtually with the Director of Integrated Services) and a flexible-format panel interview.
