Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Immediately Job Description To become a Speech Language Pathology intern in Poudre School District, you must complete the Speech Language Pathology/SLPA Intern application. This application is for placements starting in fall 2026. To be considered for Speech Language Pathology intern placement in one of our schools, you should: be entering your final semester/year of a Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders program be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD (see below) Placements will be completed with the following criteria: availability of qualified staff/educator(s) in requested areas willingness of schools/staff to take an intern outcome of internship interview between principal, lead/supervisor, and prospective intern
