Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by working as a Contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting supporting students from diverse backgrounds. Located near beautiful Golden, CO, this role offers a fulfilling opportunity to foster growth, communication, and academic achievement for children across a variety of grade levels.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Experience with pediatric populations and school-based caseloads Familiarity with healthcare standards as they pertain to SLP Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and other support staff Excellent organizational and documentation abilities Adaptable, compassionate, and dedicated to student development
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for evaluation Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings for children with a variety of speech and language disorders Track progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation according to school and state guidelines Collaborate with other professionals to promote a supportive learning environment Offer consultation and resources to teachers and families, supporting inclusive communication strategies within the classroom Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Immerse yourself in a collaborative, student-focused atmosphere where your skills will help unlock children's full potential.
