swallowing studies Requirements Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of related experience required, preferably in a medical setting Current, valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license required for the work location (license required if applicable) BLS certification through the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start FEES training preferred but not required Epic charting experience preferred Additional Information Provide speech and language therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders Participate in developing and implementing individualized speech therapy plans of care Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to evaluate functioning and communication ability Communicate with physicians before start of care and as needed throughout treatment Provide education and instruction to patients, families, and team members Document care accurately and timely to maintain patient medical records Returning employees/travelers must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a new travel assignment
