Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Soliant
is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
join our team in a school-based setting in Limon, CO. In this
rewarding role, you'll provide essential speech, language, and communication
support to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them succeed
academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals Provide direct therapy services (individual and group sessions) in areas including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic/social communication Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administrators to support student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and RTI processes Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA) Supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs) if applicableQualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program Current Colorado state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!) Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP development Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Passion for working with children and making a meaningful impactWhat We Offer:
