Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a diverse student population in a welcoming elementary school environment near Littleton, CO. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs who are bilingual in English and Spanish and passionate about supporting students from Pre-K to 6th grade with a wide range of needs, from mild/moderate to moderate/severe. At this small, student-focused district, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, open to both experienced professionals and motivated new graduates. You will provide evaluations, develop and deliver direct speech/language interventions, maintain service documentation, and serve as a case manager for students whose IEPs are speech-only. The current caseload includes 40-50 students, with a mix of younger Pre-K students and older elementary children. Supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) is available.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential (please specify status when applying) SLP-CCC or SLP-CF; district provides CF supervision Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Experience in schools or with PreK-6th grade populations is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech/language assessments and evaluations Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Maintain timely and accurate service documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams Manage caseload and serve as case manager for assigned students
