Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 educational setting in Monument, CO is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Contract position during the current school year. This opportunity involves providing essential speech and language services to students in grades K-8.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 40-60 students, delivering individualized speech and language therapy services. Collaborate with two current SLPs at the site to ensure quality care and support for all students. Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress. Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff to address student needs.Qualifications:
Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered if necessary. Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-8 student populations. Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention. Ability to work full-time hours, approximately 37.5 per week.Additional Information:
Position type: Contract for the current school year. Caseload primarily consists of children from kindergarten through 8th grade. Immediate interviews are being conducted to fill this role promptly.
