We are seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. This flexible role is ideal for a dedicated and skilled therapist looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while enjoying the benefits of PRN scheduling. Position is required to be on-site for services.Position Summary:
As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that enhance residents' quality of life and independence.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to residents' needs and goals. Provide therapy interventions, including compensatory techniques, exercises, and alternative communication strategies. Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing management strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care. Monitor residents' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the success of the rehabilitation department.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Colorado. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a resident-centered approach. Flexibility to work on a PRN basis as needed. Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic medical records (EMRs).What We Offer:
