Youll work in a vibrant school environment near Peyton, CO, helping children develop essential communication skills and fostering their academic and personal growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong knowledge of IEP process, documentation, and case management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to fit individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs Developing and implementing individualized speech therapy plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records and documentation Providing direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups Educating families and staff on language development strategies This contract role allows you to share your passion for speech-language therapy within a supportive and engaging school community.
