Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vibrant K-8 setting and make a real impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic, supportive school environment. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially. With 37.5 hours per week and a choice of two set work schedules—7:15 am to 3:15 pm or 7:45 am to 3:45 pm—you'll enjoy stability and consistency throughout the school year. You'll also benefit from professional camaraderie, as there will be another SLP in the building. This collaborative atmosphere fosters professional growth and ensures you'll always have a fellow expert to consult. The caseload will range between 40 and 60 students, providing a manageable and rewarding scope for individualized support.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Previous experience in a K-8 school setting beneficial Solid understanding of IEP procedures and compliance Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Genuine passion for helping children achieve their communication goalsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver speech, language, and communication interventions for students in grades K-8 Conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student learning Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities If you are seeking a meaningful, hands-on role in a supportive school community and are eager to empower students to find their voices, apply today.
