This contract opportunity, located near Derby, CT, offers approximately 15 hours per week, supporting a dynamic caseload in a nurturing environment. Youll collaborate with educators and families as you provide exceptional care to early learners. Qualifications and Experience Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience working with preschool-aged children in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills SLPA applications will not be considered for this position Key Responsibilities Deliver speech-language services to a growing caseload of approximately 12-15 preschool students Complete comprehensive evaluations to support student growth and instructional planning Attend and actively participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and regulatory policies Adapt intervention strategies to meet the unique needs of each child Communicate progress clearly to teachers, administrators, and families Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language therapy This flexible schedule provides valuable work-life balance while allowing you to focus on targeted, high-quality services.
