Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Talcott Center for Child Development Join a Team Dedicated to Helping Children Thrive Talcott Center for Child Development is a respected, multidisciplinary pediatric practice committed to helping children and families reach their fullest potential. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing outpatient team. Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech, language, communication, orofacial myofunctional, and feeding/swallowing evaluations and treatment services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping children build the skills they need to succeed at home, in school, and within their communities. Responsibilities Conduct speech-language evaluations for pediatric patients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and family goals. Provide evidence-based therapy services for children with a variety of communication disorders. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary team members. Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment. Maintain compliance with Connecticut licensure requirements and ASHA standards.
Qualifications Required:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with pediatric populations. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Experience in an outpatient pediatric setting. Experience treating articulation, language, social communication, fluency, voice, feeding, and developmental disorders.
