Qualifications & Certifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Connecticut Department of Health License in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Connecticut Teacher Certification 061 Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students in Pre-K through high school Conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers Deliver therapy sessions in both group and individual settings Consult with classroom staff to support student language, articulation, fluency, and social communication development Maintain detailed records of services, progress, and compliance with district and state regulations
